A tutorial and an introductory campaign will be made available in order to facilitate smooth entry into the game world. Might & Magic: Duel of Champions has the virtue of allowing real progress to be made on your own, prior to entering the large arena of the competitive multiplayer mode. A game with relatively little originality, but which proves to be very addictive thanks to the strategic opportunities offered and especially Ubisoft's balancing of different cards and factions. Each faction has, of course, its own strengths and weaknesses, and you would do well to know your strengths and those of your opponent in order to win the match.Īs with all card games, Might & Magic: Duel of Champions is turn-based, and requires that you position creatures on the playing field by casting spells and drawing new cards. If you try to play it you will find it to be very fun and exciting, albeit very challenging in some situations.Revisiting the universe of the Might & Magic saga, Duels of Champions offers you a choice between three factions at the beginning of each match: Haven (humans with a medieval look), Inferno (demonic creatures) and Necropolis (the undead). This doesn’t offer the interaction that previous games did, and it’s a bit of a shame honestly.īut despite all of that, Might and Magic Heroes VI: Complete Edition is worth a shot.
It’s also a bit of a shame that instead of getting skills when you level up you just put skills in a tree. It’s a bit inconsistent, and that tends to be a problem either on the very low or the very high difficulty levels.
It can be too powerful at one time and too dumb in the next battle. It has a lot of problems when it comes to loading properly and you will encounter issues like your mouse moving around randomly without input. However, Might and Magic Heroes VI: Complete Edition does suffer from many technical issues.
